Stop Street Harassment

Stop Street Harassment is a resource center where visitors can access lists of statistics, articles, films, and campaigns around street harassment as well as ideas for action to stop street harassment in their community. Stop Street Harassment also provides people with a place to share their stories. International Anti-Street Harassment Week is one of Stop Street Harassment’s campaigns.

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine develops and provides quality services to survivors of sexual assault and concerned others in York and Cumberland Counties who need assistance resolving issues related to sexual assault. SARSSM takes a leadership role in encouraging a social climate in which sexual assault is unacceptable. SARSSM participates in community planning, develops community resources, and promotes education and training programs relating to sexual assault.

Family Crisis Services

Family Crisis Services provide programs that focus on individual advocacy and safety for battered women and their children. FCS works for and encourages institutional change to assign responsibility for battering to perpetrators. FCS seeks to change cultural values that perpetrate and support the abuse of women through community education. Family Crisis Services provides services to Cumberland and Sagadahoc Counties in Maine.
